This significant renovation and addition includes a new master suite over a two-car garage, a new great room with deck, and complete kitchen renovation.

 

The original home was a quaint two-story structure that was built as worker housing for a large farm in Acton. The scope of work included evaluation and shoring of the existing structure, much of which was salvaged in the new renovation where possible, to retain the home’s original charm and character.

The board and batten ‘barn style’ addition with cupola is new as is the connector to the original house. The large rear gable with oversized, tall windows and French doors and transom is a new great room with vaulted ceilings. This renovation more than doubled the size of the home and greatly improved the home’s livability.
