Mariposa Village is a new multi-generational ('community for all ages'), affordable housing community in Hood River and will include seven buildings on a sloping seven acre site. Twenty-two Townhomes, three 3-story walkup buildings with apartments designed for families, and a 4-story elevator building for senior residents are planned. In total, 131 new affordable apartment units will provide the most significant number of new affordable housing units in Hood River in more than a decade.

A new community building and public park, with adjoining wetlands, will serve as the community’s hub and provide residents with a place to gather. The site has been designed to enhance existing walking trails and greenways, connecting to established and planned regional nature trails.

This project will meet the National Green Building Standard (NGBS) for sustainability and will be Salmon Safe certified. The community building will be Path to Net Zero certified.
